Writer & Director Simon Cox

Described as a ludicrously ambitious filmmaker by the UK’s Guardian Newspaper, Simon’s love of film-making started at 14 when his super 8mm film, Battle in Outer Space, featured on the BBC TV show Screen Test. At 16, his second film, Circles of a World, was commended at the 9th Tokyo Film Festival. In 2005 the Horror Channel described Simon as one of the UK’s hottest up and coming directors when they screened his first feature film, Written in Blood.

Simon has worked as an editor and director in UK TV and films since the early 1990's and has made 2 feature films.

Invasion Planet Earth

Invasion Planet Earth was Simon's dream feature film. A labour of love, inspired by the original Star Wars,  that took

nearly 20 years to get made.
