Welcome to Of Infinite Worlds!
Most films get released... and disappear.
My last film, Invasion Planet Earth, reached the world - But not the returns. Despite Global distribution, it never recouped its £300k budget.
So this time, I'm doing things differently.
Hi, I’m Simon Cox, an indie filmmaker passionate about making epic sci-fi adventures. Inspired by the original Star Wars, I’ve spent years bringing bold, independent sci-fi visions to life.
Now, I’m thrilled to present my most ambitious project yet: Of Infinite Worlds (Parts 1 & 2). The first film lands in 2026, with Part 2 following a year or so later. Big, bold, and visually stunning, this is indie sci-fi at its finest.
The film is due to be finished by September 2026 and on release of the film, I have decided to try a new way to distribute it. I've called my new system, Tribe Only Distribution, and for the first time, this film will be released privately - Only to those who choose to be part of it.
There will be NO public trailer.
No open release.
No algorithms deciding its fate.
Just a direct comnection between filmmaker and audience.
The Mission
The Goal: £160,000. Independently
Before this film goes anywhere near traditional distribution, we're on a mission to recoup £160,000 - directly. This is the money we've borrowed to get the bulk of the film made.
If we succeed, we prove something powerful: Independent films don't need gatekeepers to survive.

Filming Progress
Creating an epic sci-fi film on a low budget is no small feat—I learned that firsthand with my last movie, Invasion Planet Earth, which took nine years to complete. But this time, we’re doing things differently, building on that experience to bring Of Infinite Worlds to life more efficiently.
With most of the story set in space, we’ve built our own spaceship sets and filmed locally in Warwickshire, working with an exceptional cast and a talented crew.
As of now, the first film is completely shot and we have a strong first cut! We’re deep into post-production, crafting stunning VFX using Unreal Engine and After Effects. The results? Absolutely thrilling! Its been a few years in the making, but it will be finished in 2026!

VFX Progress
I wanted Of Infinite Worlds to have the tactile, cinematic magic of classic sci-fi—a blend of Thunderbirds and Star Wars. To bring that vision to life, we teamed up with master model maker Richard Dixon, who designed and built stunning practical spaceship models for the film.
We initially filmed our spaceship models using a motion control rig against a large bluescreen. While this worked well, we soon realized that scanning the models and converting them into 3D assets gave us far more flexibility. By importing them into Unreal Engine, we could create stunning shots faster and with greater control over the final visuals.
This ongoing process began in 2022 and since then, we've been hard at work crafting our special effects, bringing the world of Of Infinite Worlds to life in breathtaking detail. Check out some of our VFXs below:
