A British Sci-Fi Movie From
The Creator of Invasion Planet Earth
In return for supporting us, you'll get regular updates on our progress and news of any crowd scenes we're shooting and when we require folk to play extras. You'll get exclusive photos and videos from the set and invites to test screenings and premiere screenings etc. In real terms, your direct support will help to pay for the cast and crew working on these films.

You'll be an actual part of the adventure - and on the journey with us, the highs, the lows and all the fun. We want this to be hugely successful and we want you to be part of it!
Hi, I’m Simon Cox and I truly love classic sci-fi! It all started when I saw the original Star Wars - after that, nothing was the same. My life goal now is to make epic sci-fi movies that touch, move and inspire people in (hopefully), the same way I was moved by the work of George Lucas, back in 1978.
I am now the writer and director of two thrilling new British indie sci-fi movies, Of Infinite Worlds (Parts 1 & 2). These are super ambitious, spectacular and thrilling films which I've spent the last 3 years developing. We have filmed a large part of Film 1 and completed the majority of the special effects - And now we are raising the final funds we need to get the first part finished. We aim to release Part 1 in May 2025 and Part 2 a year or so afterwards.

And how are we going to do this? Well, I did it once before, with our previous movie, Invasion Planet Earth - which got a UK theatrical release in 2019 and has since gone on to sell all over the world. Of Infinite Worlds, is going to be EVEN bigger!

These are truly independent movies - in other words, we have no big corporation backing us (Netflix, Disney etc). So, we are reliant on private investment and from the support of the people who love real independent films. If this is you, please do snap up some of our merchandise from our SHOP as every penny we make goes directly into funding the film.

Meet Our Cast - So Far

Filming - How Are We doing...?
As I learnt from my last movie, Invasion Planet Earth, making an epic sci-fi movie on a low budget is no mean feat. We shot that film in chunks, raising money as we went along. In all it took around 9 years to complete. We're making these new films a little differently, leaning on the experience of making, Invasion Planet Earth.

The majority of, Of Infinite Worlds, is set in space. We have built our own spaceship sets and aim to film locally in Birmingham and Coventry. Our aim is to bring the cast in and film each scene, moving from set to set (revamping each set as we go).

As I write this, we have shot around 35% of the first film and have built most of our film sets. These sets are currently in storage while we raise the rest of the money required to finish filming. As soon as we've raised what we need, we will get on with it.

There will be some part-sets too, with areas of green screen for some of the more complicated set ups. Below are some of our set designs – Massive thanks to Benn Robinson for creating these.
Below are some behind the behind-the-scenes shots of the first set we built in June 2022. This was revamped three times to appear at three separate spaceship cockpits
The Special Effects - How Are We Doing...?
I was keen to have real spaceship models as my vision for the film is a sort of cross between Thunderbird's and Star Wars. So, we engaged model maker, Richard Dixon, to design and build the ships.
The Victorious
The Montana
The SRX
The Medusa
Initially, we filmed the first of our models on a motion control rig on a large bluescreen. This worked well, but we also discovered that if we have the ships scanned and turned into actual 3D computer models, we get a lot more flexibility and can import them into Unreal Engine where we can create REALLY fantastic shots a lot quicker and have much more control of the final output. This process started in 2020 and was completed in 2022. Since then, we have been busy creating our special effects shots. To date we have around 70% of the effects shots done for Film 1 and around 20% completed for Film 2.
