I'm Trying a New Way to Release my Movie...

I wanted to share something important—especially if you’ve been following my journey for a while.

Back in 2019, I released Invasion Planet Earth. It was a huge milestone for me. The film reached audiences all over the world, which is something I’ll always be proud of.

But if I’m being completely honest, financially it didn’t work the way I’d hoped.

Despite the exposure, despite the global reach… it never fully recouped its budget. And that’s something that’s concerned me ever since.

Because as filmmakers, it’s not just about getting your work seen—it’s about building something sustainable, something that allows you to keep creating - and the current distribution system is flawed and stacked against indie filmmaker.

I'm Trying Something Different

With my new sci-fi feature film, Of Infinite Worlds, I’ve decided to take a very different approach.

Instead of going straight into traditional distribution, I’m launching it first through something I’m calling:

Tribe Only Distribution

This is, in many ways, an experiment—but one I believe in.

What Does That Mean?

The film is now in post production and due to be finished by September 2026. For a limited time after that, the film won’t be publicly available.

• No open release

• No public trailer

• No streaming platforms

  
  

Instead, the film will only be available to people who are part of my mailing list—the people who have supported, followed, and believed in what I’m doing.

In other words, everything starts with the audience that’s already here.

The Goal

The goal is simple:

To recoup the film’s costs directly - without relying on the traditional system.

No middlemen. No layers of distribution taking their share first. Just a direct connection between filmmaker and audience.

It’s a different way of thinking about releasing a film—and it puts the focus back where it belongs: on the people who actually care about seeing it.

Why This Matters

If this works, it opens up a whole new path - not just for me, but potentially for other independent filmmakers as well.

A way to:

• Build an audience first

• Release directly to them

• And create a more sustainable model for making films
